The room rate for single or double
occupancy is $114.00 per night plus tax.
That rate is good from Sept 2, 2010 thru September 8, 2010.
Hotel reservations must be made

This does not mean that rooms for the actual days of the festival are sold out.
Rooms are available at the Doubletree at the festival rate as advertised after the festival dates.

Transportation from the Portland International Airport
Travel to the Doubletree Portland at the Lloyd Center: take the MAX light rail train for $2.55 USD . This is the red line f(important to note for your return to the airport at the end of the festival).
The train stop that you want is Lloyd Center/NE 11th Avenue.

Driving Directions to Doubletree from Portland International Airport
Travel to the Crowne Plaza Downtown Convention Center: take the Crowne Plaza shuttle. There are two Crowne Plaza hotels in Portland so please be sure that you get off at the Crowne Plaza Downtown Convention Center location.
One more option is the Blue Star shuttle (for either hotel)
It operates every half hour from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
$14 for one way trip; $24 for round trip
Thursday tour that begins at 9 a.m., please take your luggage to the van provided by
the Doubletree at no charge to transport you from the Crowne Plaza to the
Doubletree where the tour will begin. Use the same procedure If you are staying at the
Crowne Plaza and are not going on the tour. It may take the Doubletree a couple of trips
with the van depending on the number of people needing the service. Exact schedule for the
van will be decided later. Your luggage will be stored at the bell stand at the Doubletree until
your room is ready. We want everyone at the festival hotel.
If you are having difficulty making reservations through the 1-800-HILTONS number
for the festival hotel, the Doubletree Hotel Portland at the Lloyd Center, please call the hotel
directly at 1-800-996-0510, then press 1. The in-house reservation staff works 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
M-F Pacific Time. The code to get the $114 festival room rate is WNG.

Michelle will work out any problems. The front desk at this hotel does not usually handle reservations.
