  • September 2, 2010 - A Day at the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum

We will head off to McMinnville to spend the day at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum. While best known as the
home of the Spruce Goose, the museum is also home to another 80 historic aircraft and exhibits. Besides the wonders
inside, the museum is a fascinating symmetrical building with a glass facade and is a local landmark which can be seen for
miles.

  • September 3, 2010 - Oregon Garden

Spend the day in the Oregon Garden. The garden includes a variety of plant species and habitats including includes more
than twenty specialty gardens, and the only Frank Lloyd Wright home in Oregon, Gordon House. After exploring the
gardens by foot or tram, Mount Angel Abbey is the next stop. We’ll spend some time in the Museum’s collection of
assorted artifacts, including mounted animal dioramas, rocks and minerals, antique liturgical vestments and religious
items. The day will finish at Bryn Seion Welsh Church for special 3PM services.

  • September 3, 2010 - A Day of Knick Knacks

Willamette Valley is not only know for its wines, but also another gem. The Willamette Meteorite was discovered in the
Willamette Valley and is a great photo opportunity. Then off to an early afternoon of shopping at Aurora Colony Antique
Row and a stop at Pacific Hazelnut Candy on Highway 99. The day will finish at Bryn Seion Welsh Church for a special
afternoon treat.

  • September 3, 2010 - Lost in the Gardens

One of our most popular tours. No tour of Portland would be complete without a quick visit to the Rose Garden (when in season), as it is ranked as one of the best city gardens in the world. Proclaimed one of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside of Japan, the Portland Japanese Garden, the next stop, is a 5.5-acre haven of tranquil beauty nestled in the scenic west hills is the next stop. Also nestled in the hills is Pittock Mansion. Soaring 1,000 feet above Portland’s skyline, tour this century old architectural wonder.

  • September 6, 2010 - Journey from Waterfalls to Mountains
Visit many of Oregon’s most famous scenic attractions in one day: Multnomah Falls, the Columbia River and Timberline
Lodge, were we will stop for lunch, on Mount Hood! Tumbling waterfalls, incredible scenic overlooks, orchard-filled
valleys, majestic mountains, and the Oregon Trail await you on this tour that climbs from sea level to over 6000 feet in
one scenic loop.
